Lucky stars are a thorny bunch, but the lunar lady, she’s a beauty. The 1st full moon of 2015 happens in the Goat sign on January 4th @ 8:54 PM, Pacific Standard time.

1st Best

All the celestial zeros of the last six weeks have led us to a brake even point. This is so that we all begin fresh and new at the start equally; it’s the beginning of the beginning. This is not just a rehash of the same’ol-same’ol. Dead spots or zeros, open up unique categories of our personal best. On the Gregorian calendar the 1st full moon is also a Solar day where Earth is as close as she can get to the sun. Another is Saturn at the 1st degree of the Rat, beginning a sequence for 29.5 years ahead.

Coming Clean

How we begin new things in our life determines the outcome. Think of it this way… a story always has a grain of truth that tells you how it ends, at the beginning. You can’t pick tomatoes if you plant potatoes, is my explanation. What “is” in the beginning will be born out. Our 1st moon cycle is a full one so the end is deeply ingrained in the initiation of the new. To see this grain of truth, you will need to be properly, poised and still.

Full Goat Moon

Since a story ends in some part, although miniscule, at its inception, then where in the field of plenty to sow our hopes and dreams; to flourish and grow, not wither and die (?) is important, not remote. The message here is to come down from the lofty rafters my goats pals. This full, Goat moon harbors the promise of the new moon. The new moon arrives soon so prepare now to be grounded for it.

Deer Me

This full moon, like all full moons, is in opposition to the sun. A Goat Moon and Ox Sun at cross purposes can be especially contentious. The old position on the equatorial beltway is the crabby, crab of cancer. People will feel the pinch at ground level all the way up, to the top of the heap. There’s no running away from this shadow it will follow you everywhere. Passivity and kindness are key notes to the savor in this cycle. When we look at a meadow or a swamp we think it is weak and mushy, soft and yielding. In actuality it is anything but. Swamps and meadows spread out and sweep over expanses of land to nourish and protect. This is a grand way to understand this lunar aspect, metaphorically. Work with the nature of things, such as they are.

Saturn Says…

Saturn is now one degree forward in the Rat sign. Already there are early signs of a zodiacal shift in conscious perspective with a new lens. The mechanized world of the Rat and the urgency of Saturn is like a tea kettle steaming. Some parts can’t wait while others will be held in suspended animation. This lunar combination foretells the great change coming is the only thing we can rely on. Affected areas are not just in the woodland glen, but in the sewers and the back alleys too.

Tiger Minds

As the celestial bodies (planets) move around the elliptic -all inner rim planets: Mercury, mars and Venus, are cycling through the Tiger sign, at the same time. This puts a ton of internal pressure on the inner workings of what is usually an external system. Tigers are yang by nature and it means they will act on instinct at every provocation. In this yin phase that can be a deadly combination, so caution is advised to lay still.

Part of Fortune

Jam packed like a can of sardines is the part of fortune. It sits under Neptune and Chrion on the descending node in the Hare sign. Feeling confined under the strain of regulatory action there is heat coming off of Mars like a ball on fire. This is a testy situation that can only be relieved when not looking directly at the schematic. The ability to weave streams of income through the patterns in this moon cycle is slim to none, yet it can be done. Funds are available when you figure out how to utilize dormant resources.

Pluto and the Sun

Holding their own in the sign of the Ox is Pluto and the Sun conjoined. This is what is known as a snow balls chance in hell. There is heavy opposition to whatever deals and thrills you may have planned. There is no nudging a goat and no pulling an ox to make them do what you want and they hate to be cajoled. The best way to move this apple cart to the market is with steady pace and steely nerve and no stalling.

One more Zero

The theme of the zeros have dominated the charts since Mid November and well into December. It should be bringing loads of goodies, accolades and kudos to the forefront. But still there are delays and lag time in the system and some major kinks to be worked out. To wrap up this sequence we have Mercury sliding into the Tiger at ground zero. This feels like a home run yet there is still some residual blow back on the call. It is a balancing act that will have you on your tip-toes if your doing it right. This zero seems the least likely, but actually has the greatest potential for incoming opportunity and wealth growth. Celestial motions favor organizations and institutional support when and where you can find it. The well is deep though, so keep digging.

The year of the what? Most people go around believing they are here, in the now, they are present. Yet they continuously refer back to timelines and time frames that are not genuine, not authentic. Do they fear knowing the truth or are they just plain ol’lazy with the details, preferring to repeat mistakes as truth then understand the value of reality.
