Tiger Super Moon | 2022

As the Super Tiger Moon rises opposites attract. This celestial fusion is a stellar showcase that paints the skies as-far-as the eye can see. The Moon’s luminosity commingles Sun’s light for a glowing effect.

Just step outside and watch the show!

While the Sun in the Monkey and the Moon rides the Tiger it continues to highlight leaders and leadership roles. Some take a bow, others grab for the brass ring, fall into disgrace or even disappear from view. Power plays are many.

The Sun moves to the Bird sign on August 22nd shifting priorities to the bottom lines and the accounting of minutiae details. Suddenly, little things are a really big deal! Take stock.

Black Water Tiger | 2022

2022 is a Black Water Tiger year. In the Ancient Taoist Zodiac Jupiter is known as the Grand Duke and defines the Astro year. Jupiter spends approximately one year in each sign on the Zodiac wheel.

Jupiter also moves around and gets ahead of time and is now in the Hare sign for this year but has rolled all the way into the Dragon lair so this Chinese Tiger year presides over a mixed crowd.

Jupiter will make his way back to the Hare sign before going forward to a new Astro year but we’ve already seen a glimpse of things yet to come. Tiger’s are unpredictable and powerful forces of nature so heed the signs on this cosmic trail.

Ox: Full Super Moon

Although it’s still Summer this Ox Moon is a golden harvest. This Ox Super Moon reaches fullness at noonday to rise full at sunset. Also known as a Buck moon it is visibly closer and therefore the biggest moon in 2022.

It is a glorious tribute to the lunar cycles of our planet. The Taoist sign of the Ox corresponds to the western sign of Capricorn. Scared Ox rules Ancestral Luck. It’s home to the Temple or Mountain side on the Northeast compass direction.

Zodiac Ox sits in the feng shui location of Education and Administration where the records of past, present and futures, co-exist. Strong and sweet Oxen represent Earth’s Mother Culture and are devoted to the herd mind. Ox signs naturally work well in pairs and in teams.

The mighty Buffalo features heavily in legends, lore, fables and the creation stories carved in stone. With their head in the clouds and feet on the ground Cows are down-to-Earth, Spirit guides. Bulls brought mass production and capital to our industrialized world.

Oxen, cows and bulls chew and re-chew food so many times to digest-it they are symbolic of the body Chakras and reincarnation. Cows blend and merge the beliefs and cultures of the orthos doxa, the orthodox and unorthodox ways of living and the dead.

Got an Ox in your chart? You probably revisit things many times after long after they are done and never give up to change, achieve or acquire your deep desires. Oxen can be cruel or kind, radical or divine. At times stubborn to a fault, cows are vulnerable, steady and refined.

Ox does not like conflict and will bide their time unless provoked to charge or stampede. They love pomp and circumstances to reflect rituals practices of their exalted status.

Ox: Moon and Pluto

In this chart a retrograde Pluto and this Full Moon collide. Planetoid, Pluto rules Fate and is generational in scope. Like sticky molasses Pluto takes his time. He’s been rolling through the Ox, since November 2008.

Last time Pluto made his way through the Ox it was 1776 and the Declaration of Independence was being signed. When Pluto ends his reign in the Ox he won’t be back for another 248 years.

Pluto’s long, extended pilgrimage opens the road to the Age of Aquarius next year. In March 2023 Pluto enters the Tiger to begin a Vision Quest for humanity.

Breaking down dogma and the status quo Pluto pulls the rug out to expose and discard what’s not working anymore. A new ground level will be installed, metaphorically and literally.

From July 19th to December 23rd Chiron retrogrades in the Dragon. With Chiron retrograde consequences come calling. Situations go off-the-beaten path and get stuck in the weeds. It’s a period of rediscovery and redirection.

Chiron is the healer in the cosmic vibe. Like it or not, it’s time to take our medicine. What goes around comes around. Watch out, Chiron can be a curve ball. Good, bad or indifferent, reversals in tone and tenor are swift to seek a remedy.

Jupiter Retrograde

On July 28th the magnetic Planet Jupiter known as the Grand Duke goes retrograde on the same day as the Monkey New Moon. Monkeys and Dragons are part of the same Ruling Triad. So this will affect the Regal Class and high society due for a reckoning.

The Sun moves into the Goat sign on June 21st at 2:14 AM Pacific Time. This ancient holiday marks the longest day in the northern hemisphere. Once a year the Summer Solstice is a High Holy day of celebration for Sun worshipers, world-wide.

Sun in the Goat

Goat’s is the party animal of the Zodiac. They are high achievers who love the drama in the circus of life. Goat is part of the Compassionate Triad with the Pig and the Hare signs who are hospitable and kind. Horse is Goat’s Secret Buddy and favorite companion, along for the ride.

On the Compass the Goat shares the Southwest with the Monkey sign. Goat presides over: personal love, the home and hearth and Matriarch, Lady Luck. Sun in the Goat is best known for it’s merry-making, the romance of adventure and sometimes, falling in love.

Royal Flush and Full House

Planets and Aspects on the Ascendant side of Sun Chart show big clusters of cosmic blooms. Half of this chart is entirely, vacant causing grave concern. This celestial pile-up in the Dragon and Snake leave an impression that can’t be ignored.

Planets form pockets of compression to increase our intensity levels. Over-the-top or water-under-the-bridge; it’s a lot of contrast to contend with. These rough, rapids move fast with ever-present danger but also lucky strikes and strokes of genius that can be made manifest.

Rat Moon

Even though the upper atmosphere is packed with all the other planets in my estimation and others it seems too, this moon shines brightest as one of the best this year. Soak up this stellar event with stunning effects that’s brought to us by our wonderful world!

This episode is short and sweet as we approach the Summer Solstice coming on June 21st as the Sun leaves the Horse and enters the Goat sign. While the Horse is still glowing in the Sun’s moonshine I’ll share a little ritual called the Wishing Moon that’s fun and enchanting.

Rituals are personal life recipes that allow us to express our desires in a positive and objective fashion. We give something of ourselves in order to get something. There’s a direct exchange of energy in relationship to what we seek.

It only takes a few moments. You need to be able to face the moon outside or see the moon from an open window. Begin by holding a wish or desire upper most in your heart and mind.

Wishing Moon Ritual

When the Moon is full you stand facing the moon. Breath easy. Without spoken words open your heart and send your wish up to the moon. Breathe easy. Let the moon glow back at you. When you sense the moon is seeing you say thank you to the moon for granting your wish.

That’s it. You can wish for love, success, or anything you choose. Once you’ve sent your wish to the moon it helps to forget it. Because the sooner you let go of the wish the sooner a response can be released that aligns you with your desire.

In my experience with this ritual I often have a spontaneous wish in the moment that is easier to forget and so it happens faster after I’ve forgotten it. But when I send a wish that’s hard to let go of, it takes more time.

If you don’t have a wish you can still open your heart to the moon to send gratitude or ask for guidance. It’s a lovely ritual that can be done looking at the moon and speaking form your heart without words. Anyone can do it. Good Luck.

Lucky Moon

This Moon aligns on the up side of the chart in concert with the Part of Fortune. The rest of the planets arch over the top of the chart. There are no stragglers or planets under the grid line. This pure yang energy can bring joy especially in tough times to inspire good vibes.

The Rat is a Wealth God in ancient folklore and is often found hanging out with Buddha. The Rat sign is capable of getting Buddha anything he asks for. The Rat a clever and indispensable aid. Buddha often carries his Rat in his pocket as a lucky talisman.

The Dragon has a large grouping of planets as does the Snake with an exalted Venus. Mercury is entering the Horse at a zero point. Although full moons bring a harvest this zero point let’s us launch or start something fresh and new.

The focus will be on financial systems, reputations and leadership roles that last generations. Saturn’s retrograde in the Tiger and Pluto’s retrograde in the Ox giving us a break from the daily grind. Enjoy the summertime.
