The transit of the Sun into the Dragon marks the beginning of the rebirth of Spring dating back to the 1000 Century BC based on the IChing and the 4th Century BC of the Tao Te Ching.
For planet Earth the entry of the Sun into the Dragon sign initiates Spring in northern hemisphere and the Fall season in the southern hemisphere.
