Happy Holidays! This is China Rose with your lucky stars for the Full, Horse Moon on December 17, 2013 and our winter Solstice. This short, full moon phase has acquired a wide variety of names through the cultures and ages of our times: the cold moon, oak moon and long night moon. Our full moon happens in the wee hours and “rises” full after sunset on the 17th of December.

The winter Solstice is the shortest day and longest night that begins our winter season in the northern hemisphere. Aloha, this is China Rose with your Lucky Stars for the Exalted, Full, Serpent Moon Rising. There are no significant challenges in this chart. In fact it hastens our long winters nap as we merge into our cyclic hibernation mode.
