Our 1st day of the New Year (in the western world) is a Full Moon. This is a Super Moon that sets up a Blue Moon, at the end of the month. It’s also an auspicious start to a brand new year in the cosmic realm. Planets will change signs and patterns will be reformed. 2018 will have (2) sets of Blue Moon: one set in January and another in March. The first full moon is a Super Moon to kick off a brand new year with peak energy! These eclipses add extra energy to the standard mix of moon cycles. Expect things in life to arrive or depart suddenly; materialize or disappear. Eclipses seep up time. Planet Saturn is now in the Ox, or Cow and it’s a whole different landscape. The Sacred Cow has (7) stomachs to correspond to the holistic (7) Chakra system. This progression takes stuff out of the head and puts it at a gut level. Everything will be felt in the gut. In last few years, Saturn transited the Rat, it was all about mind games and neural passageways. Now, get ready as everyone contemplates the Holy Navel for the next 2+ years as the taskmaster and timekeeper transits the Ox.
Jupiter Grand Duke
In ancient Astro systems, planet Jupiter is known as Tai Sui or the Grand Duke, a jovial giant. This year the Duke will spend 2018 mostly in the Pig sign. This focuses on the tail end of a (12) year cycle. It will magnify life, death, sex and rebirth with every scientific, mystical and occult art, imaginable. Pigs snuff out the truffles that no one can see embedded in dark, dirt. It is a unique gift with great benefits. This Jovial cycle will gather rare, unseen treasures from hidden places. Uranus, the planet of chaos rolls sideways, backwards and slowly, as compared to our galaxy’s other celestial, spheres. This radical agent is one of the big Gas Giants. It’s an outer rim planet that produces huge, generational shifts when it changes station. The millennial’s era will be over. While Uranus skirts the edge of the Dragon sign there will be skirmishes and complicity along the borderlines and in the margins. In May when this planet moves to the Serpent sign it ushers in a smoother, gentler period. Less destruction and more production. Mystical snake medicine will cool the fire and brimstone left in Dragon’s wake. The Serpent is wise, yin energy and it’s passive restraints will be more common than harsh, whips and chains. This brings a a world of difference for ancestral origins and their mythic stories.

The “Flying Stars” formally change on February 4th, 2018. The cosmic swirl has already cleared the gateway and the old stars are weak; so knowing what lies ahead can help prepare for the annual pattern change. Flying Stars are fields of motion based on the compass.
