On January 31st at 9:49 PM Pacific time we have a Super New Moon in the sign of the Tiger. This New Moon marks the beginning of the Water Tiger Year 2022. Kung Hei Fat Choy is spelled various ways but mean the same thing to wish you great happiness and prosperity!

Back in Time

In modern times the first Full Moon in January is known as the Wolf Moon due to wolves being active hunters during the cold months in the northern hemisphere. The first Full Moon of 2022 arrived on January 17th.

Full Goat Moon January 17th | 2022

The Full Goat Moon on January 17th starts the year on an emotional note. The Goat is part of the Compassion Triad with the Hare and the Pig sign. So expectations run high. Horse is Goat’s Secret Buddy to keep the good times rolling. Goat sits in the Southwest Love direction on the compass in the location of the Home & Hearth with Matriarch Luck.

Crossroads

Several planets go in and come out of retrograde this month. Uranus going direct in the Snake on the 18th to kick off a busy celestial season of congested traffic in the celestial grid. Uranus in the Snake is restructuring money marketplace and the income sector is feeling the growing pains.

Sun enters the Tiger | 2022

On January 19th the Sun entered the Tiger sign until February 18th when the Sun enters the Hare sign. While the Sun is in the Tiger general matters for large organizations will follow traditional patterns with an eye for new visionary ideals.

The Dog and Horse are favored in this time frame and of course the Tiger’s super buddy the Pig will be granted special favors.

Forward in time.

Venus returned to forward motion in the Ox sign where she is in detriment, on January 29th. When Venus returns from the underside of the elliptic it’s hell on wheels at the brink of disaster. But as she goes forward tensions will ease with Mars catching up to her in the next 2 weeks.

Chinese New Year of the Black Water Tiger | 2022

February 1st begins the Chinese Year of the Black Water Tiger | 2022. The Water element is Yang and represents consciousness and emotions. Water needs a container to hold-it or it spills out everywhere so people born on a Water element Year like to feel supported.

Tiger are known as the Brotherhood and they are visionaries along with Patriarch Luck in the Northeast direction on the feng shui compass which is the direction for knowledge and scholarship. They are power brokers and heads of state, types, working behind the scenes.

Mercury Returns

Quicksilver planet Mercury went retrograde in the sign of the Tiger January 14, 2022 and returns forward on February 3rd in the Ox sign. Initially this slows things way down. Mercury is clustered with Mars and Venus as they roll back over Pluto.

When Mercury makes a back spin there are often course corrections and things started can go unfinished. Don’t get snared-up in Mercury’s loop. Do what’s already in front of you and when things from the past resurface follow the clues. Wait to begin the new-new until after Mercury resumes forward motion, February 3rd.

Venus is now retrograde in the Ox and there’s no denying when she’s out of phase it can be hell on wheels. Things can happen that can’t be undone.

Our Lady of Love and Luck, Venus goes direct on January 29th. At that time Mars will catch up with her to form a tight conjunction that reaches a peak on February 14th, 2022. While Venus and Mars co-mingle love will tingle in a special way. It’s a match made in heaven.

On Sunday, January 2nd at 10:35 AM Pacific Time the Moon and Sun conjoin for a New Moon in the sign of the Ox. Venus, Pluto and Mercury are part of this cosmic mix adding friction and giving Fate an extra hand stirring the pot.

The Ox New Moon and Sun kick off a brand new year with Jupiter making a transit through the sign of the Hare. February 1st is the Chinese New Year of the Black Water Tiger. This and more celestial good fortunes are coming in the cosmic realm for 2022.

Scared Cows

A New Moon in the Ox is a post 30 day point to an eclipse we had in early December, 2021. Late stage ecliptic points bring results and consequences to the forefront. Something comes along unseen or unexpected to blot out whatever you had going.

The unanticipated takes precedent even though it wasn’t on the radar.

Black Water Tiger coming soon in 2022

There are 12 signs and 12 years in the Chinese Zodiac animals system. In Feng Shui Astrology each of the 12 signs has a heavenly stem and one of the 5 elements. So a Tiger year happens every 12 years but a Black Water Tiger only happens once every 60 years.

The last cycle year the Black Water Tiger born was in1962. Visionary Black Water Tigers made huge changes in cultural renderings. We now have a Tech industry and a New Age unfolding. I’m excited to see what these new little Black Tigers bring to the world.

Mars and Venus

In 2022 we will have a conjunction of Mars and Venus on February 14th which is extremely rare. They meet up in the sign of the Cow so love will be on a rescue mission and knights in shining armor will be transformed into a “night in shinning Armore‘ for a new twist on romance.

Mercury Goes Retrograde

Nothing stalls a New Year like Mercury going retrograde. After this New Moon cycle begins the Quicksilver planet Mercury goes retrograde in the sign of the Tiger January 14, 2022.

As Mercury regresses he moves back into the Ox and like Lady Luck, Venus, he rolls over Pluto. Mercury goes forward February 3, 2022 and rolls back over Pluto again, going the other way. Yikes! This year begins with both Mercury and Venus in retrograde motion.

Between Venus, the Sun, Mars and Mercury, the planetoid Pluto is getting grilled big time. These inner rim planets try to crush Pluto but instead they are transformed. Pluto leaves an indelible mark on their souls. Each time they crossover Pluto takes a toll.

Naga Rama

The Node enters the Serpent sign in January and continues retrograde all year in 2022 as it moves deep into the snakes coils. Energy and power can be harvested with new inventions springing up. The Node holds the key and cracks the code. This gives Snakes new power and access, unparalleled in the marketplace.

Uranus Returns

After an extended retrograde period, planet Uranus in the Snake sign returns to forward motion on January 18, 2022. For better or worse Uranus rippling through the Serpentine path alters the landscape as it sheds its old skin.

This sector governs income like pay days, cash and recurring assets. Uranus will make markets more flexible and limber. While Uranus has transited the Serpent we’ve seen radical rates and other market sweeteners with buffers and bumpers.
