Rat Moon
Even though the upper atmosphere is packed with all the other planets in my estimation and others it seems too, this moon shines brightest as one of the best this year. Soak up this stellar event with stunning effects that’s brought to us by our wonderful world!
This episode is short and sweet as we approach the Summer Solstice coming on June 21st as the Sun leaves the Horse and enters the Goat sign. While the Horse is still glowing in the Sun’s moonshine I’ll share a little ritual called the Wishing Moon that’s fun and enchanting.
Rituals are personal life recipes that allow us to express our desires in a positive and objective fashion. We give something of ourselves in order to get something. There’s a direct exchange of energy in relationship to what we seek.
It only takes a few moments. You need to be able to face the moon outside or see the moon from an open window. Begin by holding a wish or desire upper most in your heart and mind.
Wishing Moon Ritual
When the Moon is full you stand facing the moon. Breath easy. Without spoken words open your heart and send your wish up to the moon. Breathe easy. Let the moon glow back at you. When you sense the moon is seeing you say thank you to the moon for granting your wish.
That’s it. You can wish for love, success, or anything you choose. Once you’ve sent your wish to the moon it helps to forget it. Because the sooner you let go of the wish the sooner a response can be released that aligns you with your desire.
In my experience with this ritual I often have a spontaneous wish in the moment that is easier to forget and so it happens faster after I’ve forgotten it. But when I send a wish that’s hard to let go of, it takes more time.
If you don’t have a wish you can still open your heart to the moon to send gratitude or ask for guidance. It’s a lovely ritual that can be done looking at the moon and speaking form your heart without words. Anyone can do it. Good Luck.
Lucky Moon
This Moon aligns on the up side of the chart in concert with the Part of Fortune. The rest of the planets arch over the top of the chart. There are no stragglers or planets under the grid line. This pure yang energy can bring joy especially in tough times to inspire good vibes.
The Rat is a Wealth God in ancient folklore and is often found hanging out with Buddha. The Rat sign is capable of getting Buddha anything he asks for. The Rat a clever and indispensable aid. Buddha often carries his Rat in his pocket as a lucky talisman.
The Dragon has a large grouping of planets as does the Snake with an exalted Venus. Mercury is entering the Horse at a zero point. Although full moons bring a harvest this zero point let’s us launch or start something fresh and new.
The focus will be on financial systems, reputations and leadership roles that last generations. Saturn’s retrograde in the Tiger and Pluto’s retrograde in the Ox giving us a break from the daily grind. Enjoy the summertime.
