As eclipses go if completely, unexpected and extremely, radical is what you are thinking of for this event then you’ll get your wish. The northwest sector rules over courts, travel and fair play. This ecliptic full moon tips the scales on the super, lunar side. People, situations and things will teeter over the edge. By nature, dogs signs are service animals that are loving and kind. I predict that all the call-to-duty, types will be at attention and on high alert.

This is also a holiday moon. Like high noon at the okay corral it’s a funky aspect there is no getting around. Stand your ground but don’t step on a soapbox to debate. Due to the super, full and fast-acting, effects of this eclipse, all of it happens rather quickly. Either way the moon comes up and then goes down, it stays big all the way through. Probably noisy and clamoring as well. The best you can hope for is to hang-on and ride it until it’s done and gone. a double-dog, dare-ya asks us to rise to the occasion of whatever shows up. I suggest not being foolish if the request is too risky or insane. The eclipse zone is plus or minus 3 days.

They are too far apart for a direct connect but Mars stays in hot pursuit of his love interest all summer long. Double Lucky Moon

March 20, 2015 @ 2:38 AM PDT is a New Moon, Total Solar Eclipse on the Spring Equinox in the sign of Hare.

Total Solar Eclipse

This new moon is a Total Solar Eclipse that has a number of wild and wondrous influences happening in concert with other celestial events. That means the shifts may grind at the mill of change, throwing off sparks and friction. For some that can cause distress. But if you roll with it and don’t cave-in under the pressures to conform, you can succeed where before you had failed.

Spring Equinox

The sun crosses over the equator from the southern to northern hemisphere to mark our Spring Equinox. In the north this adds more light, longer days, and of course spring. In the south the fall begins, days get shorter and colder. This year the sun makes it pass over our equator just 13 hours after a total, solar eclipse. Because this moon (a super moon) is so close to Earth it will have a BIG effect on tides, emotions and larger-than-life, moments in time.

Double Hare Moons

We’ve had two March Hare, new moons, in 2015. The first one came at just a wee one degree in the Hare sign during Pacific Standard time. Like a key stone it set a place. This 2nd, new Hare moon is a cap stone, a finishing point, at 29 degrees. It transcends time having sprung forward in Pacific Daylight time. The doubling of the Hare; where two Hares are joined (the cat or rabbit) is always supremely, auspicious; or double-lucky. It may seem odd to begin a cycle at a finishing point. This takes a truly, imaginative mind to grasp such an advanced concept. Consider coronations and other forms of titles and entitlements, being bestowed, can begin things at a high note. This new moon crowns our efforts in magic. May you wear it well.

Saturn Retrograde

Saturn went retrograde motion on March 14th. Which means as a celestial body, Saturn spins backward in relation to Earth’s elliptical field of plane. The planet Saturn will return forward, direct on August 2nd, 2015. Before it does, it will have moved all the way back to the Pig sign at 28 degrees. Think of it this way; this is a slow-motion, time warp, a back-spiral to retrieve something of value. The Pig sign is the ultimate benefactor in life, it presides over the concept of luck and luckiness and is a key component in Taoist high magic. In Astro terms Saturn relates to sex, death and rebirth. I’m going to let you ponder this one awhile, since it’s truly a plot twister that is still unfolding.

Exalted Venus

While planet Uranus has Mars conjuring up mayhem in the Dragon, the Snake has our lady, Venus exalted and refined. Venusian energy is quite the feminine curiosity. The elliptical patterns Venus makes are called a sacred rose in geometry or the dance of Venus. Known to the Babylonians as the “Bright Queen of the Sky” she has a truly spherical orbit and moves very slow. Venus is a sister planet to Earth. Dense acidic cloud on the surface and a low hum on the magnetic scale shroud this planet in mystery.

Mysterious and serious, this new moon has a lot to offer. Its peak potential will continue to evolve as it unfolds. My vote goes to this moon as a strong contender for Best New Moon of the year, award.

Tiger Love Moon

Welcome to our planets 1st New Moon of 2015 on January 20th @ 5:14 AM, Pacific Standard time. Our Tiger Love moon is filled with thrills and chills that takes us on a sentimental journey. We can travel down the path of what could be, if we make new choices. This new moon is considered a Super-moon due to its location in perigee to Earth. With six moons in 2015 being so-called, super-moons I’m a little skeptical. The conflicting methods to discern this status just feels like so much hype.

Wild Tigris

Clusters of planets swirl around the bottom of the chart casting reflections in a pool of possibilities. This kind of reverie allows us to project our fanciful notions on a bigger screen for the broader consideration of our future being. We get a little sneak peek of what can be, before we commit and dive in too deep.

Pairs of Pairs

This moon is all about pairs. The Ascendant and Part of Fortune combine in the Ox sign while the Moon and Sun meet in the Tiger. Mercury and Venus are joined up in the Tiger too, while Neptune and Mars merge in the Hare sign. This celestial plateau is wide open to collaborators and tandem teams. Our new baby moon shares and cares with a depth perception that is keen.

Instincts Roam Free

Because this is a dark and reflective new moon it is more than a little dangerous for its unstable and changing nature. Chemical transformations; from old to brand new are peeling back layers. Tides will rise and sweep back-out, taking loose debris with them. Unseen forces will be working feverishly behind the scenes off screen. While structures and partnerships shuck and jive, shake and shimmy look for solid ground and hold on, rather than letting go. Use your internal instincts like sonar to guide you.

Tiger Lines

A leopard doesn’t change his spots and like a badge of honor, a tiger owns his stripes. Tiger’s stripes are beyond skin deep. That’s why Tiger folks are a faithful brotherhood. Typically they are life-long friends who at times may seem aloft, but are always available when you really need them. They can be counted on to attend social gatherings and stay loyal to their favorite watering holes. Yet, Tiger types are visionary and forward thinking. As the Sun and Moon connect expect some manner of brilliance, a cut above the ordinary, to be a by product and artifact that becomes legendary.

Mercury Retro

On our first new moon in a new year, Mercury is going retrograde. We will be experiencing turbulence. What is not yet officially started should be put on hold until the cosmic system is functioning normal. This is a great time to be progressive with existing projects. Give yourself the next few weeks before beginning anything you expect to last a long time. Just finish what you’ve started to make it even better and time will pass quickly into a friendlier cycle.

Calendar

The luck of the Flying Stars won’t change until February 4th. The old stars have worn out and although they are not dead yet, they are weak. They may still have the power to sign over a fortune but they do not have the energy to run a marathon. Instead of relying on them you may need to help them along. The Chinese New year begins on the next new moon February 19th when Mercury’s motion is forward, direct. To try to launch projects in this timeline can be disappointing if you push ahead of the natural cycles.

Dead Ends

A few days before Mercury goes retrograde it is a good to remove all excess. Trim hair, discard odd bits and pieces, mend, groom, sift and sort: plants, paperwork, etc. Also ask yourself, “what do I keep doing that’s not working”, as a metaphorical dead-end? This will help to prepare for the new moon by not restarting cycles that look good at the beginning, but lead back to a dead end.

Lucky Stars

Fortunes you so richly deserve will be more rewarding when you mine the cycles to find your fortunes. Use this time wisely. Because that’s what Mercury does, it takes a spin backward on our elliptic plane then comes right back to where it was again. Like a boomerang it can return to hit you in the head. This gives each of us a redo, a second chance and a another swing at the bat. Just leave space for the unexpected. Mercury will surely devour your time and send you on more than one goose chase.
