October | Signals

As October gets going Earth has an extra-temporary Moon. In the Dog the Sun, Mercury and Dark Lady Lilith are all conjunct. War God Mars continues to blaze through the Peace-seeking Goat giving momentum to unique possibilities as quirky cultures take root.

And Dog keeps the ball rolling. The US political field is a junkyard of Dogs born in the Fire Dog year 1946 with past-presidents Bill, George and Don. For the old guard the October 2nd micro-moon eclipse leaves a lot to be desired as the feminine divine rises to social power.

Mid October the Grand Duke Jupiter goes retrograde in the Horse. Big dreams won’t be dashed entirely but some get sent back to the drawing board. The coming Dragon Lunar eclipse is certain to be illuminating. And the door to the Spirit World is open on Hallows Eve.

Dog | Solar Eclipse – Micro New Moon & Sun

On Wednesday October 2nd we have a Micro-New Moon at 11:50 AM PDT in the Dog sign. This new moon is a solar eclipse with the Sun and Moon conjunct along with Dark Lady Lilith and messenger Mercury. It’s a game-changer combination, life-event for Dog signs.

But-like all new moons this complex drama plays out in the shadows. When we look at the chart the Crown in the Bird suggests justice and accountability are paramount. For some this cosmic evolution involves a shrinking of former-selves to fit the new models of acceptability.

The effects of this eclipse may seem like they are a black box to figure out; as the tide turns on the wheel of fortune and the cosmic cards are reshuffled in the deck. Dogs can recover a new sense of duty but must take a backseat to Dragon as a power transition unfolds.

October | Flying Stars 2024

October 4th Monthly Flying Stars change and the Victory 6 Star flies to the Center palace. It’s a lucky star that brings noisy clatter and competing desires. To manage this heaven star in matters of the heart, be a good-sport for a lucky advantage.

New can be scary because it’s unfamiliar. Luckily the 6 Star is a triumph and a pleasure to engage. If it feels cold or mechanical take-a-chance to warm things up. The 6 Star is Heaven Luck personified so use banners and swags to celebrate life.

The lucky Ming Tang runs through the Center Palace from East to West highlighting partners and partnerships. In October a lucky Ho Tu configuration in the West brings added Descendants luck. In the South the Lucky-Sum-of-Ten overcomes all obstacles for success.

Jupiter Retro | Horse

Wednesday, October 9th planet Jupiter goes retrograde in the Horse at 21 degrees until February 4th, 2025. Horse signs can be long suffering so avoid the whoa-is-me saga. This retro period will take Horses back to revisit stuff. It comes with perks so don’t avoid it.

Look at the landscape my little pony and get ready to shift perspectives in a transition lasting five months. Jupiter is the great benefactor who expands your good. To make change liberating and lasting carry forward improvements with improvisations. Deconstruct to reconstruct.

While Jupiter is retrograde review-to-reflect to make new choices to improve positive results. Let go of the drama and allow natural instincts to be your guide.

Pluto | Direct

Hallelujah on October 12th planetoid Pluto goes forward on the elliptic at 29 degrees in the Ox sign. Ox is Chief of Production and upper management. In the stars Oxen are the cornerstone of our sacred ideals. Rituals and traditions die hard.

Pluto’s extended visit to the Ox spawned mixed blessings and unintended consequences that are difficult to remedy. Pluto is a dark and remote generational bender. It takes 11 to 14 years for Pluto to transit each sign of the Zodiac making for an uneven, elliptic expression.

But the Ox likes things steady as she goes. Ox prefers constancy and communion with higher powers. While Pluto visited the Ox it altered foundational aspects of cultural under-pinning. Now that Pluto is leaving for hundreds of years our revised social values get set in stone.

Mercury | Pig

Sunday, October 13th the winged messenger Mercury enters the Pig sign. Mercury in the Pig delivers insights to unravel the deepest mysteries and uncover treasures we’ve been searching for. In the Pig Mercury has a chance to work his alchemy and magic. So test your theories.

Pigs are home to the bank of the Zodiac so we can expect penetrating details discussing the nuances of long-haul asset growth. I hear you snoring but don’t despair Mercury also brings clever resource management with magnetic personalities and a youthful exuberance.

And of course scandals. Torrid and tempestuous. Pigs are legendary for their sex, drugs and rock and roll anthem. But perhaps the message is a cry for freedom not debauchery, or maybe both. Either way buckle-up because this cosmic event will be riveting and revealing.

Dragon | Super Full Moon ~ Eclipse

There be Dragons here! Thursday, October 17th at 07:36 PM Pacific we have a Super Full Moon Lunar ECLIPSE in the Dragon sign. Dragon are known for their longevity and there are plenty-o-Dragons to celebrate for this cosmic event.

As part of the Ruling Triad Dragon’s are often born to fill leadership rolls. In cosmic Kismet both Harris and Walz are Double Dragons at the top of the ticket for the Whitehouse bid. On this ecliptic event Dragons will reach a new pinnacle for all mankind.

Double Dragon’s are said to open the Gates of Heaven or the Gates of Hell. In this star field Dragon’s have the upper hand on the mantle of power. On this eclipse those naturally adept at leadership will rise to the occasion and swiftly align to Dragon’s grand design.

Venus | Rat

On Venus’ Day Friday, October 18th Lady Luck Venus enters the Rat sign. When Venus comes to visit, clever Rat tells it like it is. Rat’s are chatty social types who like to congregate and share ideas. Venus is a generous giver so the mouse inherits a gift of gab. Rat loves a story.

And get ready to hear everyone’s secrets as Venus in the Rat is a drive through confessional. Suddenly people feel the need to express their hidden laundry. Rats are treasure seekers in finance and rock climbers in the gem industry.

Anything that sparkles and shines will catch Rat’s eye. Rat’s in Dragon’s Triad so the smart money is in electrifying the future now. Venus in the Rat loves to invent and explore and when nature comes calling head outdoors. Venus in the Rat is marvel to behold!

The Hallow Mass is a Christian crossover of All Saints Day. In some-ways this is a day of reckoning and in other adaptations it’s a time of remembrance for souls who have passed on. Some known or unknown. The lively expressions that reconcile death are worthy pastimes.

The Day of the Dead in Mexican culture follows on November 1st. This ritual holiday celebrates the family of those who have passed on to the spirit world. Celebrations and decorations are used to show reverence and remembrance to our ancestors. It’s fun and festive.

September | Begins

September’s Zodiac events feature a Lunar eclipse in the Hare. But right from the start September 1st Uranus retrogrades in the Snake. Snakes are shapeshifters who remake the landscape. On the same day planetoid Pluto retrogrades to the Ox and fate plays his hand.

This crossroad moment in the stars is absolutely the last time Pluto tugs the tail of the Yak for another 248 years. September is a rebound month. Pluto affects generational trends. Small shifts equal big impacts. Pluto’s grind is short-lived and returns to the Tiger November 21st.

Then things will be set in stone. But for now things are a bit fluid. Pluto’s step back activates the Mystic Triad with the Bird, Ox and Snake signs. A New Bird Moon arrives September 2nd to reset the flow and ground energy in new modes.

Bird | Micro New Moon & Sun

Monday, September 2nd at 6:56 PM Pacific time we have a Micro New Moon and Sun in the Bird sign. Birds come in so many guises but this legendary Phoenix brings a Quicksilver energy that is fast-acting. The Bird New Moon delivers renewals with a rejuvenating essence.

In ancient times Phoenix is the Guardian of the South. On the Zodiac wheel Rooster sits in the West presiding over Descendants Luck and creativity. In the Zodiac Bird’s super power is Song to create harmony. And Bird’s super buddy is the Dragon giving Dragons a leg-up.

Bird is part of the Mystic Triad with Ox and Snake. Birds are watchers, bean counters and Jet Setters. The Bird New Moon and Sun opens a gateway to our Fall season in the northern hemisphere. Labor Day holiday in the US ends Summer of 2024 with a big revival.

Flying Stars | September 2024

On or about September 4th the Monthly Flying Stars change. In September Feng Shui Flying Stars feature the Danger 7 Star in the Center palace. This metal energy causes distress that can lead to cut backs, short comings and unwanted 3rd party interference.

Curb this effect with a water feature near the center of your space. Use a small fountain or wear more greys and blacks with blue tones to exhaust the excess metal element. Water features on a desk can be as simple as a beach photo or a snow globe.

Southwest to West and Northwest have the Lucky MIng Tang for good business this month. In Southwest and Northwest use crystals and for the South light a candle. Southeast Dragon and Snake get the Lucky Sum of Ten with double luck in September. So fly your banner!

Mars | Goat

On September 4th planet Mars the War God and pure yang energy, enters the Goat sign. The Goat is part of the Compassion Triad with Pig and Hare signs. Goat’s a party animal and talented social climber. Goats scale new heights with ambitious intention with Mars as a helper.

The planet Mars passage through the Goat lasts a few months. Mars will enter the Monkey on November 1st. While Mars is in the Goat old and new friends will blend and you’ll have time for domestic duties. In the Goat Mars can burn cash so go easy on your budget and get handy.

Mars in the Goat is liberating and gender neutral: stealing some masculine thunder to build new hopes and dreams for our future existence. Everything visible reflects what came before it. To use the Mars alchemy focus is the key to building dreams with wit and whimsy.

Mercury | Shadow

From the end of August Mercury’s in the Monkey as he crosses his shadow back to the Bird sign. The shadow period last until September 9th. What is a shadow period? After a retrograde motion Mercury retraces his steps to return to where he started in the Bird sign.

Mercury is a powerful ally for Monkey’s master plans. Retrograde this year gave Monkey a chance to rework and refine his aspirations. Mercury in the Bird is exalted and translates energy into creative endeavors that showcase their talents.

Mercury rules commerce, transportation and the courts and once he’s back in the Bird accountability is the prime objective. While in the Monkey the resurgence to the system can produce novel expressions. When Mercury moves to the Bird is brings a breath of fresh air.

Hare | Lunar Eclipse

Tuesday, September 17th at 7:36 PM Pacific time we have a Full Super Moon (partial) Lunar eclipse in the Hare sign. This chart has a wonderful butterfly effect built-in with Hare and Dog across the cosmic divide. The flutter action is an auspicious event for happiness to blossom.

The chart formation expresses an equilibrium we don’t usually see in the stellar patterns. This can have a positive after glow. The Hare’s super power is magic, its super buddy is the Dog. Hare’s part of the Compassion Triad with Goat and Pig signs. Goat has high expectations.

This eclipse makes a deep soul connection. On the compass Bunny sits in the East for health and family and is feminine by nature. Goddess energy is empowered. Like any ecliptic event there is contrast and challenges but solutions are present with windows of opportunity open.

Chang E | Mooncake Fest

This year the Moon Cake Fest lands on a lunar eclipse. Chang E is a Moon Goddess with a magic Hare who grinds the Elixir of Life. This is a supernatural lunar festival. Light lanterns and share food with family and friends. Celebrate the coming harvest season.

Mooncakes are made and eaten as an homage to the Goddess. The festival highlights female energy. Like the Moon the female spirit is ever-present. Write out your wishes to the Goddess in a ritual manner. The eclipse gives an extra boost to intentional energy.

Eclipses blot things out that we didn’t see coming. It can be alarming. But what you resist will persist so use this cosmic mojo to shift focus into a higher vibration and seek the good instead of the bad. Surrender unfulfilled desires to the universe and let something better evolve.

Sun | Dog

On the Sun’s day September 22nd the Sun enters the Dog sign on the Vernal Equinox at 5:45 AM Pacific time just before sunrise. The Sun in the Dog is an annual recharge for those born in the Dog month and gives a booster shot to those born in a Dog year.

Dog sits on the Northwest side of the Zodiac compass in the transportation, service and travel sector. Dogs give service. Duty is their super power. The Dog is super buddies with the Hare sign and is in the Power Triad with Horses and Tigers. Dog days are loved and admired.
