Silver Moon

Recently we had a New Moon in the Goat sign and we soon will have a Full Moon in the Ox. The most recent moon is still being felt. A dark, dead New Moon in the Goat on June 23rd passed through extreme patterns. Our lunar lady was joined by the Sun, Mercury and Mars for a cliff hanger of an ending.

The New Moon followed the Summer Solstice on June 21st. Why is this a dead moon? A full moon reaches a peak of luminescence in visibility and then begin a decline in visibility. This decline is happening on the dead side {or after life of the moon} before the moon starts a new cycle. It’s dead before it dies. Let’s face-it, it’s a strange anomaly of it’s own making. So too will be it’s by products and offshoots.

Each cycle is different in it’s light and dark elements. This particular new moon was especially dead since it did not become new (completely yin) until sunset. In other words it went dark -when it got dark. This produced a double dark, yin energy.

Double Yin energy is unique and not common with all new moons. It occupies the place called the VOID. Everything made manifest before your eyes comes from this place, the void. What we see hear and experience in our outer realm is really just the ticker tape of the existence of this inner realm. Once we see an experience it has already happened in the time continuum and it is being displayed in the context of our understanding.

This extra shroud of darkness is a stargazers delight and after the grumpy old goat moon goes all yin it returns to a sliver of a silvery crescent and progresses through its cycles of change. The July full moon rising full just after sunset on the 8th. It’s a 30 day pre-Ecliptic point to a Partial Lunar eclipse on August 7th. Whatever crops up could grow to a quick resolution.

A new cycle begins as we head for a Full Moon in the Ox sign on July 8th. As full moon’s go this is one tough buffalo. Camped with Pluto on the Ascendant it’s a very tough customer that needs a remedy. Saturn holds court over this unresolved issue but not in a traditional sense. The New Rat Moon and coming Full Moon are a tandem team but timing is awkward. Image concerns tip the scales and shift the balance of power.

Jupiter holds a top spot at the crown of the chart for two Moons in a row. This energy has proven unstable. It’s tilting windmills to battle ghosts and to chase shadows while ignoring the elephant in the room. It appears to have a bone to pick and an axe to grind and perhaps it needs a cooling off period.

The coming Full Moon has the node (key) on the back of the chart as Mercury slides into the Monkey sign. The magical and clever monkey is a key master of pomp and circumstance so expect quite a good show to crack the code and solve a mystery. This node is connected a gifted trine in the Ruling Triad, with the Dragon and the Rat sign.

Mercury enters the Monkey and will be a strong counterpoint to offset extreme conditions coming with the ecliptic patterns in August. There is a partial lunar eclipse on August 7th and a total solar eclipse on August 21st. The total solar eclipse is being hyped around the world and it seems worthy of this attention.

As the Part of Fortune, Mars and the Sun blaze trails past the Goat sign they are right out on the edge of the extreme neater regions. Goats are unique at finding footholds where there are none and the Monkey lingers on in an afterlife.

By the time the full cow moon arrives July 8th Venus will be stepping into the Horse sign for a rodeo ride. Until then she remains exalted in the Serpent sign with full luxe to bring a very positive solution to a desperate set of circumstances. If you get an offer take it!

Uranus drags anchor on the bottom dregs of the cosmic ocean floor in the lofty Dragon. Deeply recessed in a cave the dragon can orchestrate a surprisingly high harmonic. Laser beams and silly strings of invisibility enchant pearls of wisdom out of their shells for a wider audience to be enlightened.

Chiron is a deep space planet hybrid transiting that’s been Hare sign for some time now and it’s getting close to the Dragon’s border. This causes skirmishes resulting in scraps and bruises to ego and amigos. Planet Neptune, also in the Hare is bouncing backward in retrograde motion. This motion can improve notions and potions and extend research but it also has a separation side-effect that is disquieting. It will continue to swirl for awhile.

Flying Stars change on July 6th around the coming full moon. Check all your Lucky Zodiac signs to see how the cosmic wonder works in your favor and improves fortunes!
