Dog Gone | Summer
After a dizzy month in August the cosmic dust starts to settle. As September begins the Sun’s in the Bird and the Moon’s in Dragon’s tail. And the last days of summer fade fast when our Sun enters the Dog on the Autumn equinox.
But September is not without it’s astronomical intrigues and galactic twisters.

Hard Working Stars
Right off the bat celestial gears shift into harvest mode. This makes Labor Day on Sept 7th an excellent time to recognize hardworking stars that have gotten us this far. Even-if you had a back-slide take stock of your level best.
Break from just assessing the short side. Give it a rest. Leave your woes and worries out of the mix. On this day our Sun’s in the Bird and the Moon’s in the Goat, stop and take a breath before climbing your next hill.
Winds of change have blown hard this year. More storms are coming. Right now, open up to feel a sense of ease. Create a momentum of possibility to get over the next ridge, step by step
Venus | Pig
In the dead of night on the West coast, Venus our Lady of Love and Luxury slides into the Pig Sept 10th. Venus in the Pig is indulgent and mysterious. She’s a force of nature that plays hide and seek with our true feelings. Torrid affairs and lusty, love triangles are always be avoided but especially this transit period. They don’t have happy endings.
Suspicions grow wild as passions run deep. This area of the chart rules over life, death, sex and rebirth. Glitz and grit sits at the end of the Zodiac wheel. Endings bring new beginnings.
Pig is the bank of the Zodiac ruling over hard assets, benefits and resources. Venus will top-up her purse as she lavishes at the trough. It’s a time of excess and extravagance. Just when you thought it couldn’t get any more outlandish Venus goes retrograde in Oct. Fortunes tumble and markets rumble.
It’s a long and winding tale as Venus spins back to the Dog before going forward in Nov. Theatrical displays are all the rage as Our Lady of Love and Luck re-enters the Pig in Dec. Venus goes long in the Pig and doesn’t leave her leave posh digs until Jan next year.
Mercury | Dog
Also on Sept 10th winged Mercury merges onto a busy cosmic freeway to enter the Dog. Venus enters the Pig, Uranus goes retrograde and we have a Dark Moon rising in the Bird. Under a veil of secrecy alliances shift behind the scenes and lips are sealed for the time being.
Ambition rides high in the Dog who wants to be on top of the heap. While In the Dog Mercury is a gadfly of philosophy expressing his deepest, emotional whims. There will be grand flourishes and mercurial moments to tilt the scales toward your favorite pet peeves.
Balderdash and bravado drift in the air as Mercury campaigns to win our hearts and minds all month long. On Sept 30th the Quicksilver messenger enters the Pig and alters the landscape.
Uranus Retrograde | Horse
Oh my gosh Sept 10th has more. Uranus slips between the cracks to spin backward in the Horse until February 8th next year. Cool your jets. All bets are off. What they said wouldn’t happen or wasn’t the case, will now be staring you in the face.
Uranus retrograde in the Horse is a bronco bucking the system that knocks down walls and level the contours of our lives with a new baseline. It’s a gut punch. We go below sub par and underwater before we catch our breath. This tells us exactly where to draw the line.
Horse sets the tone for our lofty goals and now they’re out of air. Pull back and power down as we assess the situation. Maybe it’s just a flat tire not a broken axle? Only time will tell the tale. Goes-to-show things are not always what they seem. Uranus is a game changer.
Bird | New Moon
Sept 10th In the evening on the West coast we have a New Moon in the Bird sign. This is a 30-day post, ecliptic point. What does it tell us? Ships pass in the night and what transpired last month extends it’s saga into a new chapter and verse.
If you’ve followed this plot Dragon’s back on the Ascendant with a retro Neptune, Saturn and the Part of Fortune. It’s galactic Déjà Vu. The New Bird Moon has a lot to give and much to be desired. Extreme contrasts boggle the mind like a leaky faucet. Bit by bit.
New Moons are the chance to reset our goals and ambitions. Rebuild reputations and renew a sense of purpose. Set a fresh heading to reach your goals and aspirations. This Dark Moon is hidden but it’s energy is potent Those who have it will resonate with the masses. Those who’ve lost it fade into ashes.
Use this Auspicious New Moon energy to align with a higher vibration.
Lilith | Ox
Holy Cow! Who is Dark lady Lilith? She is the shadow energy of the apogee of the Moon. In ancient mythology and history some the first writings are of two sisters. One is the dark and one is the light. One lives in the underworld of shadow and the other resides over the days and seasons above ground.
Lilith is the literal dark side of the moon and the moods within ourselves. The shadow we are either chasing or running from. She often represents grief. Where things in life get lost or fall away on the ancestral trail and our tribal leanings. But not always. She has plenty to offer when we confront our fears and let go of blame to overcome challenges.
On the compass grid Lilith plays different roles. In the Rat, Lilith was helping to explore parts and pieces of ourselves to build a new perspective. A new mirror to face the world and the ghosts of our unrealized ambitions. In the Ox Lilith has other objectives. The structural and foundational components of the Ox put us in the underbelly of her world. Where our gut instincts are the guiding principles.
Ox sits in the Mountainside of the Patriarch where Lilith is colder and wears an icy armor. She is exiled from her comforts and safety and endurance is the only salvation. Who is coming to save us?
But it’s not all doom and gloom. We hold the higher power within ourselves. That’s what Lilith teaches as we enter her 7 gates of living hell. It does sound dire but there is a need for storming the facade of our falsehoods to unmask our self-deceptions. To gain awareness of the value in existence.
Much can be gained in understanding the fortress we build to hold our fears. We’ll have 9 months to dismantle it. Then brake ground on a stable sense of security. Lilith in the Ox shows us that brutality is just depravity. This Mountain holds many treasures but to mine them we need to fashion a personal alchemy.
Here we adopt the Shadow Mother and not leave her wanting in order to convert our losses to a benefit. To establish bridges of resilience and responsibility, virtue and self-mastery to convert vengeance into compassion. It’s a tall undertaking and we must rise to the occasion. Lilith demands it.
Retro Chiron re-enters Dragon
On Sept 17th Retro Chiron re-enters the Dragon. He already moved into the Snake and is only spinning backward into a Dragon for a short run. He will not get far or go fast having only a temporary status. Why is that? Chiron returns direct in January of next year.
Whatever he cooks up in the Dragon is facing fierce galactic winds that will shred his efforts. Because Chiron moves at a snails pace it feels like it might never end. In the Snake Chiron has double healing modalities, lickity-split. But it’s a slow crawl to get there.
Once Chiron arrives on the Serpentine path he works like magic. The tools and skills of this masterful, alchemist will scratch a 7 year itch. Come hell or high water, next year in April Chiron in the Snake will do his level best to find a new equilibrium over his extended transit.
Sun | Dog
We fall into harvest and seasons change when the Sun enters the Dog Sept 22nd on the Autumn equinox. Sun in the Dog is a moving target. Things will shuck and jive. But in the aggregate it’s more about the motion than the distance. Fruits, seeds and nuts of our labors require a good shaking to brake them down for storage.
Happy Birthday Doggies this is your Solar recharge. The Sun gives Dog a much needed break. Dog serves duty and presides over travel and the courts where transportation and communication is highlighted. Celebrate you!
This year dog hits the snooze button to check-out. Expect to be in a holding pattern. Puppy love blossoms as leaves drop and bold colors paint the trees. While our Sun is in the Dog get back to basics. Eat well, rest plenty and go for a walk to stay in tip-top shape.
Mid Autumn Festival Begins
Sept 25th begins the Mid Autumn festival to celebrate the harvest moon. Gather with family and friends for reunions and moon gazing. For the first time this year the planets and aspects are spread-out over the heavens giving us a glittering sky to admire.
Take time to appreciate relationships with each other and our world that sustains us. Be grateful for what we have, not what we still are left wanting. That’s not a new concept or to reduce the frictions of reality, but it’s worth practicing.
What you resist will persist and what you focus on comes calling. Sure there’s a lot to fix and things that need reconfiguring but it’s easier to accomplish with our fun bunnies: beauty, grace and abundance.
Dragon | Full Moon – Mooncake Fest
Sept 26th a Full Dragon Moon rises in the early morning. This moon marks the Mooncake festival of the harvest season. A Dragon Moon offers loads of drama and bold dynamics to stake out positions and declare oppositions.
Mars is leaving the Goat, the Sun Dog opposes the Dragon and Venus sits on the Ascendant horizon. Soon Mars enters the Monkey and Mercury will be in the Pig. All before month’s end. This puts a brand new twist on some pretty-old classics. Light your lanterns to lift your spirits.
Enjoy the treats of the changing season. Lazy days of summer are dog-gone as darker days and longer nights in the Northern hemisphere are upon us. Look to the bright-side. The Moon Goddess Chang’e and her Jade Rabbit prepare the elixir of life so our story is never ending.
Mars | Monkey
Sept 27th brings high drama with hell and high water when War God Mars enters the Monkey. Mars is all fire and brimstone and Monkey likes to put on a show. Expect live-wire theatrics. Monkey Mars is a black-eye and bruised ego that goes bump in the night.
Is it naivete or courageous optimism? Monkey takes a leap of faith to get us on the other side of a hardline. Mars in the Monkey is magnetic and inspirational. Grand gestures maybe genuinely authentic or just more bravado. It’s tough to tell the difference.
Mars in the Monkey can exercise brute force to grab his ambitions. Patience goes out the window. While Mars is in the Monkey use extra caution, lead with passion and temper your enthusiasm. Be high-minded but dignified and strategic. Only fools rush in.
Mercury | Pig
Sept 30th at month’s ends there’s nothing casual or insignificant about Mercury in the Pig. The Mercurial energy in the Pig is intense, secretive and selective. Smoke and mirrors fuel suspicions, unravel mysterious and spin rumors. Fascinations are quickened.
Mercury is the messenger but while in the Pig, loose lips sink ships. Whispers in the wind fuel speculation and plumb deep insights. Pigs keen investigative nature ferrets out the truth, solves puzzles, discovers hidden treasure and recovers lost souls.
Like Venus, while Mercury transits the Pig he goes retrograde in October. So guard your tongue, plan your actions and buckle-up for a bumpy ride. Be deliberate not defensive.
Flying Stars | September
In early September the Lucky Money, Love and Miracle 1 Star flies to the Heart Center Palace. In the heart center this Star brings benefits to everyone. It’s a Star that ignites new romance and delivers manna from heaven. Small things take on a big importance.
When least expected some minor or major miracle makes all the difference. How to energize this Lucky Star? It likes sparkle and shine so add a little something to catch the eye or brighten your look with a shiny accessory.
Specials this month bring the Lucky Sum of Ten to the West which is hosting a very difficult set of star patterns. The Lucky Sum of Ten helps the Bird sign overcome all obstacles for success.
Zodiac Signs | September
In September summer begins its departure. Venus enters the Pig but she doesn’t get far because our Lady Luck retrogrades in October. Mercury enters the Dog and make it to the Pig as September ends. The New Bird Moon mid month inspires new growth.
Lilith makes her move into the Ox and Chiron returns to the Dragon. The Sun enters the Dog. Mars enters the Monkey and we have the annual Mooncake fest for the Dragon Full Moon. After all the eclipses this month feels milder but the transitions are life altering. So stay tuned.

After 9 months on September 14th Dark lady Lilith finally departs the Rat. The rocky road is behind you. After Lilith leaves the Rat is visited by 3 special cosmic emissaries.
The 1st visitor is the Part of Fortune, then the Moon stops by and to top-it-off the Chart Crown arrives. These celestial visitors show up at various times and each serve to support a new sense of self you’ve earned as you closed the book on the ghosts of your past ambitions.
Ox | Capricorn
Year of the Ox | Month of the Ox (Capricorn)
From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for the Ox have the lucky Peach Blossom 4 Star. Make the most of this lucky star by updating certifications and expanding associations. Show up and be counted on. Pass the test and rise to the occasion.
Sept 14th Dark Lady Lilith enters the Ox. This is a long and winding trail. There are no short cuts with Lilith. She’s our Moon’s shadow and her energy puts us in touch with the longing in our souls. We deal with Lilith by unpacking baggage we didn’t know we had.
Now Cow’s will dismantle structures that don’t support your level best. All the fun stuff, right? Wish I could tell you there’s benefits but they only come in due time or if you’ve socked away a treasure trove to unpack. This affects individuals who have planets and aspects in the Ox and everyone’s ancestral lines. Sacred Cows are put out to pasture.
Tiger | Aquarius
Year of the Tiger | Month of the Tiger (Aquarius)
From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Tiger have the lucky Peach Blossom 4 Star. Tigers love to be admired and adored. That’s the essence of this star’s eau de spirit. Enjoy outings and go to that thing. Be sociable to activate this stars glamorous benefits.
Tiger has Pluto retrograde at 3 degrees and he won’t go far. He’s practically standing still. While the Node is coming in the back door. Pluto is out of phase until mid October. He’s an agonizing piece of grit you can’t seem to shake or get rid of.
The Node is also a slow cooker but offer VIP access and new opportunities. These two could not be farther part. But each promotes cash payouts and other benefits that evolve this month. Some arrive out of a pearl of wisdom, clammed up and hard to crack. And others fly right in.
Hare | Pisces

Hare this month is foot loose and fancy free. There are no planets pushing you around or eclipses to burst your bubbles. Now is the time to do the myriad things that seem to get lost in the mix. Take a leisurely stroll or visit a museum. Luxuriate in the bath.
Bunny you’ve got time on your hands and the resources to make the most of it. Don’t feel the gap, fill-it with lots of wild ideas and aspirations you’ve been looking to explore.
Dragon | Aries

From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Dragon have the lucky Ripening 9 Star of Wish Fulfillment. This Star is juicy and fruity. There are many ways to activate it because it goes in both ways. This is the harvest Star so make hay while the sun shines.
Dragon’s got all the pomp and circumstance this month with celestial bells and whistles here, there and everywhere. On the New Moon there’s a 30 point to the Solar eclipse last month the brings back your jazz for an encore. The money’s good and Dragons will be seen and heard.
Sept 17 retrograde Chrion re-enters the Dragon. This is a road that goes nowhere so don’t get caught-up in it’s web of intrigue. But knowing Dragon you’ll fall right in. Sept 26th we have a Full Moon in the Dragon to celebrate the Mooncake Fest. The lunar aspect conjuncts retro Neptune so expect dreams to be realized, that are a long time coming.
Snake | Taurus
Year of the Snake | Month of the Snake (Taurus)
From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Snake have the lucky Ripening 9 Star of Wish Fulfillment. This Star can back-fire or make your dreams come true. Depends on what you do. Buff up your mystic aura. Even when you get what you want, as you expected, it can still surprise you.
Retro Chrion is sitting at zero until re-entering the Dragon on Sept 17th. Before that happens aspects are going your way, right place, right time. Or should I say? Good things show up when you follow your intuition and not chase it.
Snakes are the beneficiary of many lucky advantages that pop up this month. Serpents have free range to do as they please. Snake has a reputation as a chameleon and a shapeshifter. Put that special talent to work and be who you want to be.
Horse | Gemini
Year of the Horse | Month of the Horse (Gemini)
From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Horse have the unlucky Icky yellow Accident 5 Star. Use a pagoda or a metal decor object in the South to exhaust this Star and reduce it’s unstable forces. Keep things quiet and well kept. No digging or renovations in the South this month.
Planet of Chaos Uranus is still taking his time grinding away at many themes that we often take for granted. Uranus goes retrograde Sept 10th. While retrograde in the Horse things might brake down or go out-of-whack.
Take it in stride. Don’t let supercritical things throw you. Uranus exerts his unruly side. His aim is to brake up the status quo. Beat him at his game. Accept change at face value and it will soften any rough patches. Do things differently. Brake the mold.
When you embrace this cycle of unbridled events you convert them into something better. Think of it as a revolution and a way to be nimble and graceful, at ease in the storm. It will lessen any affect and speed up improvements.
Goat | Cancer

From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Goat have the unlucky Danger 7 Star. This Star is troublesome when you are rushing around and taking on too much. Scale everything back. Trim the sails and brace for headwinds. Avoid any construction in the Southwest.
Mars in the Goat throws off your easy-going pace. You might burn your candle at both ends leaving you vulnerable and weakened. Watch where your step and whenever possible, take a nap. If you are resting there’s less chance to burn through cash. Watch the budget this month.
You defeat the destructive aspects of the Mars energy when you cut back on the extras and scale things to their barest essentials. And for gosh-sake don’t get riled up. Keep your calm. Mars will rage on but you don’t need to join him. Mars leaves on the 27th. Then have a blast!
Monkey | Leo

From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Monkey have the unlucky Danger 7 Star. No construction or noise is Southwest. Keep that zone quiet. Use a mudra or amulet for protection and avoid excess. Cutting back can cure this Star’s worst effects.
Jupiter is gracing your sign with great benefits. Increases in funding and accolades for Monkey’s good works are all in the Stars this month. You’ve got friends in all the right places. Let them do you favors and open doors.
Mars enters your sign on Sept 27th with a burst of energy. Don’t let Mars run you raged or red hot. Temper the furnace. While Mars is in your sign avoid any unnecessary risk. Something might look like a sure thing and instead it’s a quagmire.
Bird | Virgo
Year of the Bird | Month of the Bird (Virgo)
From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Bird have the unlucky Fighting 3 Star. Best way to cure this Star is to keep quiet and don’t say anything. Practice: no comment. Bird gets the Lucky Sum of Ten to overcome obstacles for success. Don’t press your luck and everything resolves itself.
When Sept begins exalted Mercury and the Sun are in your sign. On Sept 10th you have a New Moon in the Bird which is a 30-day post, ecliptic event. These are all positively, powerful planetary motions that set you up for success. Go with the flow, not against it.
Mercury departs and later this month the Sun moves too. Play your cards right and the after-glow will hold you aloft for a smooth landing. By month’s end everyone has flown the coup and you’ll get a clean slate to work with, as October begins.

Sept 10th Mercury enters the Dog giving you a lot to bark about. Dog will be out and about making his voice heard. The Sun enters your sign this month on the 22nd. Happy Birthday Doggie it’s your Solar recharge. Soak up the cosmic energy that warms you to the bone.
The Autumn equinox begins when the Sun enters your sign. Seasons change and its time for happy, social gatherings in a brisk atmosphere. Dogs love to mingle and wag their tails. Have a splendid time. Just don’t over do it. A little fun goes a long way in this cosmic climate.
Pig | Scorpio
Year of the Pig | Month of the Pig (Scorpio)
From Sept to Oct Flying Stars for Pig have the unlucky Illness 2 Star. It’s got stagnant energy. Be scrupulous about hygiene habits to avoid any cross contaminants. This Star likes to stay high and dry so get plenty of rest. Self care is the best medicine.
Sept 10th Venus enters the Pig and begins an extended transit that lasts from now until next year. Venus in the Pig is a force to be reckoned with and passion runs off the charts. This will be a transformative time for Pig signs. Most will come out of this shinning brightly.
Naturally magnetic, Pig’s intensity draws whatever they want to them. Pig’s have a psychic sense integrated in their tool kit. Mercury enters the Pig at months end adding more insight and awareness. This accelerates the transition time that will bulk up your assets.
October 2026 | Cosmic Preview
The Sun is in the Dog as October begins. Oct 3rd Venus retrogrades in the Pig and crosses over Mercury Oct 6th. There’s a New Dog Moon on Oct 10th and Pluto goes direct Oct 15th. The Sun will enter the Pig Oct 23rd to join the cosmic party.
Happy Birthday Piggy it’s your Birthday month and Solar recharge. Also on the 23rd of Oct Retro Venus crosses over the Sun. This threshold is a gateway with enormous power and resources. Mercury in the Pig then goes retrograde on Oct 24th.
We have a glorious Full Moon in the Snake on Oct 25th and the retrograde Venus re-enters the Dog. Oct 31st is Hallows Eve. The door between world’s is open and spirits will be haunting.
